So I'll admit, I'm the worst at growing anything. My parents were really good in their garden, but I've become murderer of all plants. Still in the back of my mind I want to make a difference in my outdoor living space. I've pictured what kind of plants I want to see in my garden but ignore that fact that they might not work well in this environment. Lei, she doesn't care. She picks flowers from the ground and replants them even though they don't make it throughout the day. She tells me "We are building oxygen on earth by planting trees". I'm ok with her believing she's making a difference, even though is just a tiny glimpse of it.

Flowers always make people better, happier, and more helpful; they are sunshine, food and medicine for the soul.
