HOUSTON, TX | SUMMER MAGIC | 5 ON 5

It's been bittersweet being in a group with a bunch of talented ladies. I can't believe it's been already a year since we started this project. Yet each one of us have grown so much. Shown so much and gain much confidence backing it up. Now it's time to move on and start something new. Where will take me? I'm not to sure but I did evolve into something more. These projects became as personal as it gets. I first started documenting my family. What better subjects because each one of them is different. It allowed me to learn more about personalities and behaviors. What they were thinking or what they like the most. I documented their history. I learned to be as stealthy as possible. Capturing each gestures unplanned. My father once told me while scrolling through my images "These are the memories". YES! He gets it. They are the memories that bring a smile to our faces. The memories of being proud.

So I'm proud to pull you into my memories. The real photojournalism of my family.

As I conclude my 5 on 5, I wanted to hand the next post to Danielle MacInnes for her amazing contribution.
